Hi guys,

For those who missed out last week, we meet this saturday. Depending on the turnout, we will meet twice a month.

So, let's see if you still want to break away from your past and give yourself a chance to understand and then control anger.

For people who are going to be at the meetup for the first time, just a note.....

Anger management is a process. It's a habit that takes time to inculcate. If anger has affected you for years, it's not reasonable to expect results in one session. There are no magic tricks :) . Just some simple tools that we learn each month.

We talk about a basic issue- anger and how it is affecting our daily lives. We understand anger a little more and how it controls us . At the end of the class, we leave with 2 techniques. You go home and practice them for 10 minutes everyday. If it works for you for 30 days, you come back and we do 2 more.

Another thing that I borrow from Tony Robbins is "Do not rationalize" why you can't spare 15 minutes a day to practice these methods. Just do them for 30 days. If they don't work, don't come back.

    •  Navi was friendly, insightful and gave me some really great tips on how to control my anger. One of the things she said which made me see things differently about situations I shared with her is that no matter whether I am wrong or right in a situation, the only person I can control is me. So, if someone is rude, nasty, belligerent, a prick--they are who they are and they are going to be who they are going to be. The only person I can ever control in a situation is me. Of course, it's not the easiest thing to do but that's why I'm coming to anger management, right? Thanks Navi!
